Iuhan Celestial Constellation Projector

Iuhan Celestial Constellation Projector

The Basics:  This is 8" tall, made of very lightweight (cheap) plastic and I still feel bitter about buying this.  If you look at the websites it looks like it will project stars and constellations around the room in blue, purple, or yellow.  It doesn't.
Broken Galazy Projector
I'm cheaply made!
When we first opened the box it did not have a projector inside, instead it had panels, strips of double-sided tape, a plastic base, and assembly instructions that read like they had been run from Chinese into English through Google translate.  We tried our best and dutifully put it together.
The lightbulb inside is too weak to make the stars project across the room, so instead you get stars projected in the wall if you kind of squint and then nothing projected on the ceiling at all.  For reference: we had it on a 3' bureau projecting onto a 9' ceiling, and the only place where you could see stars was on the wall 4" from the bureau.  Our 1.5 year old said, "Wow!" the first night it was in his room.

This looks impressive until you realize that it's a close-up shot
This is what you see from four feet away
After two nights the lightbulb dimmed to the point that you cannot see anything other than a pinpoint of light.  Our 1.5 year old does not have any comments on it, most likely because he cannot see it.
Light projector doesn't project
No really, this is what it looks like

After two weeks the double-sided tape began to come off and it is getting relegated to the garbage.

Falling apart at the seams

Bottom Line: Don't waste your money.
